Either fill out our online booking form, or, if you would prefer to send in your application by post please Click here to download the Application Form in MS Word Format.
When we receive your booking form we will send you a confirmation letter with a map to the venue, or a reserve letter for courses that are already full. Please book early to avoid disappointment as spaces are limited and they are allocated on a first come, first served basis. If a course is full we will put you on the waiting list in case of cancellations.
Sometimes courses do fill up quickly. If you want to check availability before completing a booking form, please call us.

NEGOTIATION SKILLS

The aim of this session is to equip delegates with the practical skills, tools, understanding and the confidence to be highly effective negotiators. By the end of this training session delegates will be able to:
1. Use the behavioural patterns that research has found to be associated with highly effective negotiators
2. Use specific negotiation tools and techniques
3. Know how to get over specific negotiation problems
'LOOSEN UP YOUR GRAPEFRUITS' - STRATEGIES FOR CREATIVE MANAGEMENT
Date: Tuesday, 9th July

This course is designed to give delegates practical tools and techniques that can be applied to practical situations where creativity and innovation is necessary/desirable (everywhere???). You will learn how to unlock your creativity, and develop workable solutions to everyday problems.
INFLUENCING SKILLS

This session is designed to make you even more effective at influencing other people. It includes the following:
1. Use psychology to understand and influence others
2. Use rapport skills to form effective working relationships and use body language effectively
3. Use linguistic techniques designed to get people to say "YES"
HOW WELL ARE WE DOING? MONITORING & EVALUATING YOUR VOLUNTEER PROGRAMME
Wednesday 15th July
9.30am—3.30pm

Cost: £60 for VCOs, £85 for non-voluntary/community organisations, £15 concessions
This one day course will be of interest to participants who manage volunteers and/or have an interest in evaluation, including those who are involved in writing grant applications and funding bids that have a volunteering element. The session will explore methods to help you answer the following questions for your organisation:-
-- What value do volunteers add to our work?
-- What do they get out of it?
-- What is the economic value?
-- How much does involving volunteers cost us?
-- What should we be measuring?
-- How can we demonstrate the difference that volunteers make?
FIRST AID APPOINTED PERSON

This course is ideal for the smaller workplace presenting few health and safety risks. The appointed person will be able to take charge in the event of illness or accident. A certificate of attendance is issued, valid for 3 years.

All of the training events start promptly at the advertised time, with tea and coffee available 15 minutes before the start time.
